How do I link a firm user to all active cases?

Overview

Perhaps a new attorney joins your firm and you need to link them to a number of active cases with just a click. In MyCase, you can link a firm user to all active cases by updating the user's access.


Linking a Firm User to All Active Cases

  1. Navigate to your Settings.

  2. Under the Firm tab, select Firm Users.

  3. Click on the name of the user you would like to link to all open cases.

  4. Select the Cases sub-tab on the user page.

  5. Click the button on the right hand side to Link to All Active Cases.

  6. A pop-up window will appear to confirm you would like to link the Firm User to all active cases.

Additionally, there is a checkbox for the option to add all existing case events to the Firm User's calendar.

After you click Link To Cases, it may take a few minutes for the contact to be linked to all active cases.
