Overview
This article will walk you through changing/updating your email address. Your email address on file is used to login to your MyCase account.
Updating Your Email Address
Go to Settings by clicking your initials in the top-right corner of your MyCase account.
In the left-hand menu, under the Personal section, click My Profile.
Click Update email.
Enter your new email address, as well as your current MyCase password. Your current MyCase password is required in order to save your changes.
Click the Update email button to save your new email.
All notification and system announcement emails will be sent to the new email address.
Helpful Tips
New Email Address
If you have a new email address and no longer have access to your email inbox for the email address on file, you should still be able to log in based on your current credentials. After you've successfully logged in, you can follow the steps above to update your login email.
Email Already Taken
If you receive the following error, "Email has already been taken," please review the email addresses for your active and inactive users and update appropriately.
MFA Resets
If you need to change the email address for your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), an admin user will need to reset your MFA.
