How can I change the case that a message is linked to?

Messages in 8am™ MyCase can be linked to a particular case/matter.

Overview

You can update the case link of a message at anytime by following these instructions.

Following along in MyCase is recommended as you read the article.

  1. Click the Message tab under the main Communications tab.

  2. Select the message you would like to edit.

  3. Click the Edit Case hyperlink.

  4. You will then be able to specify the case you would like to link the message to.

  5. Then, click Save.
