Customizing Your MyCase Dashboard

Learn how to show, hide, and rearrange widgets on both your Home and Billing dashboards.

Overview

Your MyCase Home and Billing dashboards are designed to give you a quick, high-level overview of your firm's daily operations and financial health. To make these dashboards work best for your specific workflow, you can easily customize which information widgets appear and where they are located.

How to Customize Dashboard Widgets

1. Open the Customization Menu

  • Navigate to either your Home dashboard or Billing dashboard from the main left-hand navigation menu.

  • Look for the Personalize view button, located in the top right of the dashboard view. Clicking this will open a configuration pop-up window listing all available widgets.

2. Showing and Hiding Widgets

Inside the customization window, you will see a list of available widgets categorized by their functions (e.g., Timesheet calendar, Tasks, Recent activities, My tasks, Apps & integrations).

  • To Show a Widget: Toggle the switch next to the widget name to the On position (the toggle will turn blue/active).

  • To Hide a Widget: Toggle the switch next to the widget name to the Off position (the toggle will turn gray/inactive).

3. Rearranging Widgets

Once you have selected which widgets you want to display, you can reorder them to prioritize the most important data at the top of your screen.

  • In the customization window, look for the rearrange icon (represented by a grid of dots) next to the widget name.

  • Click and hold the icon, then drag the widget up, down, right, or left to your preferred position in the list.

  • Release the mouse button to drop the widget into place.

4. Save Your Changes

  • After toggling and reordering your widgets, click the X to close the customization window.

  • Your dashboard will immediately refresh to reflect your personalized layout.

💡 Note: Customizing your dashboard only changes the layout for your account view. It will not alter the dashboard layout for other attorneys or staff members in your firm, allowing everyone to optimize their own workspace independently.
