Overview
If an archived contact or client needs to be made active again, you can always Unarchive them.
An example of this would be a client that you used to represent (who was archived) who hires you to represent them again. Instead of creating a new contact record for them, you'd simply Unarchive their existing contact record to make them an Active contact in the system.
Unarchiving a Contact
- Open the Contact Details Page for the Archived contact. - Please Note: Archived contacts will not appear in the Global Search bar. 
- You will need to click the Contacts tab, then click the Archived filter, and find their name in the list of Archived contacts. 
 
- Scroll to the screen's bottom-left corner, then click the blue button labeled Unarchive Contact. 
- If their Client Portal was set to Disabled, but a valid email address is on file for the contact, you will be asked whether or not you'd like to enable the Client Portal before finalizing the action. 
- Click on Unarchive to finish Unarchiving the contact. 
Once these steps have been followed, the contact will be active in MyCase.
