User Time & Expenses Report

Overview

This report is a valuable tool for tracking billable and non-billable hours, as well as flat fees and expenses, logged by your firm's users. By following these steps, you can effectively run and customize User Time & Expenses reports in MyCase to gain insights into your firm's productivity and expense tracking.

How to Run the Report

  1. Navigate to the Reports tab in your MyCase account.

  2. Select User time & expenses from the list of Productivity reports.

  3. Click Run Report.

  4. Click Export to download your report as a CSV or PDF.

Filtering Your Report

To refine your report and view specific data, you can use the available filter options:

Filter by Date Range

  1. On the User Time & Expenses report page, locate the "Start Date" and "End Date" fields.

  2. Click on the "Start Date" field and use the calendar picker to select your desired start date.

  3. Click on the "End Date" field and use the calendar picker to select your desired end date.

  4. Once both dates are selected, the click Run report to display data within the specified period.

Filter by Specific User

  1. On the User Time & Expenses report page, locate the "Show Data for User" dropdown menu.

    1. Click on the dropdown menu to reveal a list of all users in your MyCase account.

    2. Select the name of the user whose time and expenses you wish to view.

  2. The report will then filter to show only the flat fees, time entries, and expenses associated with the selected user, applying any date filters you may have also set.

  3. You can also check the "Include entry descriptions" box to view any activity descriptions included with the time entries or expenses.

  4. Click Run report.
