Step 1: Select Your Check Layout
3. Choose the check layout that matches your checks:
Standard layout – your checks are positioned at the top of the page.
Bottom third – your checks are positioned at the bottom of the page.
Note: We currently do not support checks positioned in the middle of the page. If
Raised or Lowered Standard is selected as your layout option, the adjusting feature
will not work. You will need to change your check layout to either standard layout,
or bottom third layout and then proceed with the next steps.
4. Once you've selected your check layout, click Next to go to the adjustment
page.
Step 2: Adjust Individual Check Items
On the check adjustment page, you can edit each line of your check individually. This lets you format your existing checks line by line. Adjust the horizontal and vertical position, and the font size, using the +/– buttons. For example, to adjust the date field, select the adjustment option for Date, then use the horizontal and vertical +/– buttons. You can also increase or decrease the font size.
You can also toggle additional options on or off:
Turn off the printed check number field if your check numbers are already pre-printed.
Turn the dollar sign ($) on or off before the dollar amount.
Show or hide the payee's address on the check.
Step 3: Preview and Save
Click Print Preview to see how your check layout looks.
Tip: Print the preview on a blank piece of paper, then hold it behind one of your actual checks to see how everything lines up. Make any additional adjustments as needed.
Once you're satisfied with the layout, click Save.
Once you've finished adjusting your checks, this format becomes the default for all
future check printing.
