How to Void a Check from MyCase Accounting

Overview:

Whether you need to issue a new check or made an error when creating a new check you can simply void these transactions so they don’t affect your balance while still remaining in the system for record keeping purposes. Here’s how you can void a check in MyCase Accounting.

Void a check from the Banking - Checks page

  1. Go to Banking, then select Checks.

  2. On the right hand side, select the circle with a line through it icon for Void Check.

  3. You will be prompted to select a Void Date and any Notes that you would like to provide.

    1. Please note that the void date cannot be before the check issue date.

  4. Select Void

Important: If the check has already been matched/reconciled to a bank feed transaction you will not be able to void that check.
