Overview
Whether you need to issue a new check or make an error when creating a new check, you can void these transactions so they don’t affect your balance while still remaining in the system for record-keeping purposes. Here’s how you can void a check in MyCase Accounting.
Void a check from the Banking - Checks page
Go to Banking.
Select Checks.
Select the circle with a line through it icon for Void Check.
Select a Void Date and any Notes that you would like to provide. Note that the void date cannot be before the check issue date.
Select Void.
Important: If the check has already been matched/reconciled to a bank feed transaction, you will not be able to void it.
