How to Add Free Accountant License to MyCase Accounting

Begin by navigating to the settings tab in your MyCase account

  1. Select Settings.

  2. Select Firm Settings.

  3. Select the Billing tab and then the Add-Ons option.

  4. Click the Invite Accountant button.

  5. Enter your Accountant Name, Accountant Email address, and Accountant Phone number.

  6. Check the box that they are not a firm employee.

  7. Click Request Free License.

Note: The free accountant license has a 24-hour approval wait period. We must verify that the free accountant user is a third-party accountant and not a firm user.

Additionally, ensure you follow best practices, such as avoiding simultaneous removals of all licenses and testing access before switching users. For invitation delays, confirm the accuracy of email details and check for activation within 24 hours.
